Ms. Brown has been in the classroom full-time since 2016 and earned numerous journalism and educational certifications, including one for “Teaching Practices for Student Engagement and Success” from the Association of College and University Educators and the American Council on Education. She is a tenured Associate Professor at Cal State LA.
